Laguna Campground
The Laguna Campground offers such unsurpassed views of the night skies that San Diego State chooses this camping area to hold its weekly, summer “star parties,” which are open to members of the public. This park also offers access to the Pacific Crest Trail and features oak and pine tree groves, and a peaceful meadow. There are also a number of hiking, biking and horse trails for your entertainment, but part of the part is fenced off as a protective habitat for the endangered Laguna Skipper Butterfly. Some of the tent sites are located within the butterfly’s territory, and these sites are limited to only two people per space.
The park allows pets, and it offers showers and toilets. Trailer and tent spaces are available.

Five group campsites are available and the occupancies vary. Flush toilets are provided and pets are welcome. Showers are available at the nearby Laguna Campground.
